Meet Ellen

Ellen Wilson is a native of Charlotte, NC. She earned a BS degree in Psychology from Davidson College and an MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. Ellen spent 17 years working at a non-profit focusing on child and family well-being before transitioning into a Partial Hospitalization program for adults. Ellen has experience working with a wide variety of concerns, including relationship challenges, attachment injuries, stress, parenting struggles, trauma, family conflict, grief, anxiety, and depression.

Ellen uses research-based, client-centered strategies to help clients achieve real, measurable and lasting change. Ellen supports clients work through emotional wounds and destructive behavioral patterns so they can live with purpose and integrity, find balance in their lives and connect with others in a meaningful manner. Ellen works to build on her client’s inherent strengths and create a space where individuals feel seen, valued, and understood.
